wednesday went to L'E cole, restaurant of the french culinary institute with couple friends from work. five course meal plus complimentary desserts!
i had pork belly with some kind of pastry puff on top, it tasted like upgraded chicken pot pie... so yummy! i also had seared trout, steak, and strawberry tart. and got to eat extra dessert, sweet potato fritters with icecream, and some kind of gelatin orange thing... also very good :) it was pretty pricey but it was definitely all worth it. the service there was also really good, they were all so friendly. pictures are kind of small and not clear... sorry.
